Gabriel already knew the universe, having played Yue in The last air Master (2010).
Alongside Varney, the series stars Seychelle Gabriel (Asami), PJ Byrne (Bolin) and David Faustino (Mako). Throughout the four seasons, Korra went through multiple traumatic experiences, although she apparently started to become the Avatar much easier than Aang. The legend of Korra follows the next Avatar, Korra, after Aang dies.
Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005-2008) tells the story of Aang and his journey to end a 100 Year War while struggling with the responsibilities he has as the Avatar. The legend of Korra is a sequence of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which takes place 70 years after the original series. Janet Varney, who stars in The legend of Korra, recently said that his character was the opposite of his predecessor, Aang.
